Firefox 3

Just installed Firefox 3 (again). Some extensions are upgraded for the new version of the browser. I want to play with the favorites/bookmarks and finally start using them, instead of using a specialized program for that purpose.
So far looks good.
Had to switch Blog-posting extension. ScribeFire works great and is very useful, overall.
Some sites still hang Firefox. Some banking sites and seek.com.au, for example. No idea what is causing it. The same happened with the 2.0 version that I uninstalled. Could be some of the extensions, but the same happened in the safe-mode. Fortunately, there is IE Tab extension for the rescue. I'm happy as long as I can do what I need to.

mob's dev blog - Rebinding error in Visual Source Safe

mob's dev blog - Rebinding error in Visual Source Safe
Today I'm solving some issues with opening asp.net projects from Source Safe and Visual Studio 2003.
One of the errors I got was:
"One or more of the project's destination paths are invalid. To open this solution, you must specify valid paths for each project. The error returned was The Web at 'http:/localhost' already contains a project. You need to choose another location for your Web project."
So I did what was suggested in the post at the above link and that error disappeared. Moving forward...

O2 XDA Stealth @ Next Mobile

O2 XDA Stealth @ Next Mobile: I like this kind of devices. It is compact, opens with one hand, has a keyboard, and runs Windows Mobile. Hopefully they improve the other characteristics. It could be my PDA of choice.

Enable the connection [HELP]

Enable the connection [HELP] - Problems connecting to VPN with Comodo Firewall.
See also this thread. (This one is better).
I'm too lazy to add the settings to allow connection to VPN. It's easier to disable firewall during authentication and bring it back on right after.
...
Well, after a dozen hangups on authentication, I think I'll implement one of these solutions.
...
The one I implemented is listed here. It works well, allowing the VPN to connect. I used my hostname as the source address.
